Started in 2008, Seedy Saturday is an annual event hosted by Lillooet Food Matters every spring. At Seedy Saturday you can trade, or buy organic, heirloom seeds, meet local seed growers, check out our Seed lending library, and learn how to save your own seed. We also have booths where you can learn more about growing your own food, and local food security.
In February or March look for posters advertising Seedy Saturday. This annual event is a hit with new growers and experienced gardeners. Come get seed in preparation for spring, and learn a tip or two to help your garden flourish.
